Table Top Helicopter Track and Balance Trainer
Practice dynamic rotor track and balance in the classroom and
eliminate costly on-the-aircraft training. The Whirligig simulates main and
tail rotor movement and airframe lateral motion so operators can gain skill and
increase confidence in using the Chadwick-Helmuth Vibrex, Vibrex 2000, Model 192A and Model
8500C+ Balancer/Analyzer without the cost, noise and pressures of the
flightline environment.
The Whirligig operates on 110 VAC power and is supplied with a
carrying case, instruction manual and 2, 3 and 4 blade main rotor fixtures (a
5 blade fixture is available). The tail rotor can also be configured to suit
particular training needs. The rotor fixtures have moveable tip targets, studs
for weight additions and other features that simulate actual helicopter rotors.
A 28 VDC connector is provided to power the Vibrex, Model 192A
and Model 8500C+ Balancer/Analyzer as well as the Model 11A Calibrator for
Balancer/Analyzers.
The Whirligig can pay for itself in a few training sessions by
eliminating flight hours and fuel consumption and giving operators unlimited
hands-on experience in a classroom environment.
